Discharging of Flexitank

1. Equipment Requirement

 

 

 

The following equipments will be requested to procured in order to discharge SAFT Flexitank:

 

1 positive displacement pump to ensure complete discharging.

 

1 length of suction hose. Sufficient length to span distance from SAFT to pump.

 

1 length of transfer hose. Sufficient length to span distance from pump to storage receptacle.

 

1 set of suitable camlock adapters, depending on supplied pump and SAFT connections. Top Valve SAFT equipment will be supplied with a 3 ”male camlock valve as standard.

 

1 hose support strap.

 

1 storage receptacle of suitable capacity

 

The above list is a very brief outline of the equipment required to discharge SAFT and it is recommended that the effective advice always be sought from SAFT before  operation.This is important due to the potential variations in discharging sites, as well as the different valve connections that can potentially be supplied on the SAFT equipment.

3. Container Inspection & Preparation

 

All of the prior safety procedures must be completed preparing before the container discharging. These safety procedures should be considered as guarantte guidelines and any additional requirements of a particular site should be followed accordingly.
